The Olde Malthouse Inn enjoys a superb location right in the heart of Tintagel, a stone's throw from the castle and close to the south west coast path. Guests often appreciate the cute and tastefully decorated rooms, some mentioning the garden suite with its two en-suite bedrooms, lounge and garden as particularly perfect; the comfortable beds also receive consistent praise. The breakfast is considered super, offering an a la carte level of quality, and the dinner served in the inn is excellent as well; some guests have felt that the rooms can be on the smaller side. The breakfast service was great. A young lady provided happy and helpful service each morning. It was very dog friendly and i felt comfortable. The room had everything needed and the bed was comfortable.
Room 6 was small and next to the stairs. I found it noisy. The small shower made it difficult to move without bumping into the wall and shelves.
